The front is fairly clean with a couple of tight stress cracks in the clear coat finish.Vintage Early 60s Teisco Dell Rey EP-8 Or 9 T Guitar. The pickguard and pickup surrounds have a rich tortoise marbling. The guitar has a laminate neck with a truss rod and a rosewood fretboard. This is a clean example of the EP-9T in a sunburst finish.
Strings/ bridge needs to be adjusted to make it real nice for a player. It's vintage and works great! Will need a set up because has string buzz and a few dead frets.
One tuner is missing screw, nut is broke.

It seems the neck needs tightened and the attaching screws seem a little loose. It has some condition issues and since I'm not a luthier I can't say with certainty what repairs are needed. Our goal is your satisfaction.This is a beautiful 1965 Teisco Del Ray EB-200W. Additional setup may be required to meet the players specific playing style and preferences. All guitars are setup to a general playability standard.
Neck looks straight and in good all-around condition, with original string mute and bridge cover. More and 13 1/2 inches wide. 44 1/2 inches total length, the body itself is 18 1/2 inches long. There are a few chips to the finish around the area where the neck meets the top of the body and a slight separation of the plastic trim from the wood at the highest curved point of the body. Electronics seem fine outside of that.The back of the headstock and upper part of the neck have several cracks running parallel, a few deeper ones have separated slightly(see photos) Also has some cracks to the finish itself on the front and back of the body.

But never in a combo like this. I've seen the cool headstock. I have never seen one exactly like it on line or anywhere else. Neat because through research I found many of these guitars are unique because depending on what was available at the factory.
And kept in a climate controlled environment. More bar/tremolo, that is ALWAYS MISSING) to the tuning pegs- everything! Another unique aspect of these guitars is the three way switch at the top of the body- Rhythm" Solo" Bass" settings! This guitar as been case kept ever since I got it. The balance is completely original, in all it's crazy 60's glory- From the pickups, to the in tact whammy. One of the three control knobs has been replaced. But overall in really good shape! Cleaned to the best of my ability- I'd suggest cleaning the pots.
